Swara Bhasker is 'dying' as Amitabh Bachchan asks a question related to her on Kaun Banega Crorepati

The 11th season of Amitabh Bachchan's quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati has emerged as one of the most popular shows in the Indian television industry. The show is based on a series of questions, ranging from national affairs to Bollywood. Recently one of the questions included Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker's name and the diva was extremely delighted to know that.

She shared a screengrab from the show and wrote, "OMG! I heard that living legend #AmitabhBachchan just read out a question & said my name in the process. The question was based on Avinash Das's film Anaarkali of Aarah. Swara Bhaskar played the role of a small-town dancer based in Arrah in Bihar who stands up for herself against sexual molestation. The flick also starred Sanjay Mishra, Pankaj Tripathi, Ishteyak Arif Khan, Vijay Kumar in key roles. The film received a lot of critical appreciation from the fans and the critics alike and it is considered to be one of the finest performances of the diva.

On the work front, Swara last graced the silver screen with Shashanka Ghosh's film Veere Di Wedding, co-starring  Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Shikha Talsania in lead roles. She played the role of a headstrong woman who is trying to get out a loveless marriage.

The actress is currently busy with Faraz Arif Ansari's same-sex love story Sheer Qorma, along with Divya Dutta and veteran actress Shabana Azmi. The first look of the film was dropped recently and it has received a lot of love by the diva's fans.
