Taylor Swift slams Matty Healy and appears to blast his 'revolting jokes'

Taylor Swift's highly anticipated 11th studio album has finally landed and although she's in love with Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce, throws a brutal jibe at her past romances.

The 34-year-old hitmaker's new album, The Tortured Poets Department, dropped onto streaming platforms today (April 19), along with a surprise 15 extra songs.

In the song, But Daddy I Love Him, the singer mentions a "wild boy" she previously dated who fans are convinced is 1975 frontman Matty Healy.

Following the end of her six-year relationship with actor Joe Alwyn, Taylor had a very brief and short-lived romance with the vocalist which reportedly lasted for just over a month.

Although they were first linked in 2014, they rekindled their former fling in May 2023, and it seems he had a major impact on Taylor with multiple lyrics directed at Matty.

On the sixth track of her new album, Swiftes are certain Taylor references the online storm surrounding her relationship with the "wild boy."

She sings: "God save me the most judgemental creeps who say they want what's best for me.

"Sanctimoniously performing soliloquies I'll never see. Thinking it can change the beat of my heart when he touches me. And counteract the chemistry."

While on the song Fortnight, which she collaborates with Post Malone, she goes: "I love you, it's ruining my life. I touched you for only a fortnight," suggesting their romance only lasted two weeks.

Matty also appears to be the subject of a brutal takedown on The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived.

The lyrics read: "And I don't even want oil back/If just want to know/If rusting my sparkling summer was the goal."

This comes after Taylor faced backlash after Matty made harsh comments including racist remarks about her now BFF rapper Ice Spice.

During his February 2023 appearance on the Adam Freidman Show, he joined in on controversial jibes and called the rapper "Inuit Spice Girl" and a "chubby Chinese lady."

Following the uproar, he later apologized to Ice Spice, and the podcast episode was removed from streaming platforms including Spotify.
