Taylor Swift's old New York house is on market for $18 million, has rooftop terrace and pool

During her Eras Tour, Taylor Swift found temporary residence in a historic New York home while her Manhattan penthouse in TriBeCa was being renovated. Interestingly, the property has now been put up for sale at a staggering price of nearly $18 million. Taylor had previously rented this house for approximately $38,000 per month in 2016 and 2017.
The dwelling had a significant impact on her life, serving as the inspiration for her popular song "Cornelia Street," which holds sentimental value to her relationship with Joe Alwyn. According to StreetEasy, the house was listed for sale just a week ago at a price of $17.99 million.

According to the Corcoran Group, a renowned US real estate firm, the remarkable Cornelia Street residence dates back to 1870 when it was originally constructed as a carriage house in the vibrant West Village of New York City. Over the years, it underwent a stunning transformation into a modern home, boasting luxurious features such as a drive-in garage, an enticing pool, spacious walk-in closets, and skylight-adorned bathrooms. The house, adorned with a timeless brick facade, encompasses four bedrooms, five full bathrooms, and two half-bathrooms. The expansive living space offers breathtaking city views and is adorned with three fireplaces and elegant hardwood floors throughout. Notably, the indoor pool area boasts impressive 27-feet high ceilings, accompanied by a cozy lounge space and a patio featuring a fireplace. Completing this remarkable property is a rooftop terrace, providing an ideal vantage point to admire the scenic views of Cornelia Street.

While Taylor Swift's music career has garnered significant attention, her real estate ventures are equally noteworthy. According to the Wall Street Journal , her extensive property portfolio exceeds $150 million and encompasses diverse locations across the United States. From her residences in the upscale TriBeCa neighborhood of Manhattan to the glamorous hills of Beverly Hills and even a charming estate in Rhode Island, Taylor Swift's real estate holdings showcase her smart investment choices and her ability to curate an impressive collection of properties across the country.

She spent more than $2 million in 2009 for a family home in Nashville, and in 2014, she bought two penthouse units in New York for $20 million, among her other luxurious properties, according to the report.
