Telangana medical fraternity pays tribute to doctor who succumbed to Covid-19

HYDERABAD: Days after deputy district and medical health officer of Bhadradri Kothagudem , Dr G Naresh Kumar succumbed to Covid-19, medical fraternity across the state paid tribute to the doctor across hospitals, community health centres and primary health centres.


State health minister Eatala Rajender in an official statement said that the Covid warrior’s wife will be recommended for a suitable job position .

“Dr Naresh’s death is very unfortunate. His wife is well educated and I will bring the case to the notice of the chief minister for providing her with a suitable job,” he said in an official statement, adding that all Covid warriors are working very hard to save humanity and should continue to do so with courage.

Meanwhile, tributes were paid to the doctor and minutes of silence were observed in his remembrance at several locations, including community health centre station Ghanpur, primary health centre Naspur , district medical and health office Mulugu among others.
