Temperature dips after rain in Delhi, Rain likely in these states

New Delhi: After the rain on Sunday in the Delhi- NCR, the weather has changed. A drop in temperature has been recorded here. According to the Meteorological Department, normal rainfall may occur in Delhi and surrounding areas on Wednesday as well. Giving information, the head of the Meteorological Department's regional forecast center said that, "The monsoon will move northwards and will be close to Delhi-NCR from Sunday to Wednesday."

Srivastava said, 'During this time winds will move from the Arabian Sea towards the south-west and the winds coming from the Bay of Bengal will reach the areas of Haryana, Delhi-NCR, Western Uttar Pradesh. As a result, after one or two heavy rains, there will be normal rains in Delhi. There is a possibility of heavy rains at various places in eastern and western Uttar Pradesh, eastern Rajasthan, Haryana, north Punjab, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. The department said that except in western Rajasthan, there is a possibility of heavy rainfall in northwest India.

Temperatures dropped slightly in some areas of Delhi due to rain on Sunday. According to the India Meteorological Department, light to moderate rainfall was recorded at many places including IGI Airport, Dwarka, Safdarjung, and Bahadurgarh. According to Safdarjung Observatory, one mm of rain has been received, with Ridge and Lodhi Road recording 7 and 1.6 mm rainfall respectively. The Meteorological Department said that the temperature has increased to 35 degrees Celsius after the rain.
