Terrorists kill cop in Kulgam

SRINAGAR: A police constable was gunned down by terrorists in Fuda area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Wednesday evening.


The unidentified assailants fired at constable Abdul Rashid Dar, leaving him critically injured. Dar was rushed to Government Medical College, Kulgam, where he succumbed later, hospital superintendent Majeed Mehrab confirmed.

Police have launched a massive search operation to trace Dar’s killers, IGP (Kashmir Range) Vijay Kumar said.
