The rise in Koraput: Stealing fuel from parked vehicles

Pottangi: Unidentified frauds stole 300 liters of diesel from a truck left by the side of National Highway-26, before the State Bank of India branch in this square of Koraput area late Thursday night.

As per sources, the truck (CG 04/MB-6466) was conveying rice heading from Raipur in Chhattisgarh to Vishakhapatnam and was going through this square.

Be that as it may, it needed to stop when the truck was hit by a mechanical obstacle.

The driver of vehicle Asit Kumar Panda figured out how to leave it before the SBI office. He chose to fix the imperfection Friday morning. At that point he and his aide headed out to rest in the lodge of the truck.

Notwithstanding, when Panda and his partner woke up Friday they found that the pipe connected to the fuel tank and a few stray pieces were lying in the open. They found that the whole fuel tank had been purged.

Panda stopped a police objection at the police headquarters here asserting fuel worth Rs 21, 600 has been stolen from his truck.

Regardless of whether such cases have been happening at ordinary interims, police are yet to brace down on enemies of socials, the neighborhood inhabitants asserted. They further called attention to that appropriate police watching isn’t completed during the night. Henceforth the heels have a field day.
