Three terrorists killed in Shopian encounter in south Kashmir

Three terrorists were killed and an army soldier injured on Thrusday in an encounter in Hendow village of Shopian district in south Kashmir.

The encounter broke out after a joint team of army’s 44 RR, SOG and CRPF launched a cordon and search operations today afternoon in Hendowvillage, a local news agency GNS reported.

A police officer said that three terrorists were killed in the encounter and an army soldier sustained bullet injuries during the operation.

The officer said that the bodies of the slain terrorists have been recovered along with arms and ammunition, identification is being ascertained.
