Thrissur: Man dies after consuming liquor

THRISSUR: A man died after consuming liquor purchased from a state beverages corporation outlet at Vallachira near Cherpu on Tuesday.


Identifying the deceased as Sukumaran, 62, of Arattupuzha, excise officials, quoting preliminary reports, said that the had been a cardiac patient.

Three others, who consumed liquor with him, have been hospitalized and were being monitored.

They have not shown health issues.
