Train services to be regulated for work in Madurai division

Thiruvananthapuram: Train services from Thiruvananthapuram division will be regulated from Sunday to Tuesday due to gauge-conversion work in Madurai-Usilampatti section of Madurai division.

The following trains will be regulated: Nagercoil-KSR Bangalore Express (17236) for 1 hour on October 21 and 22, Nagercoil-MGR Chennai Central Weekly Express (12690) for 30 minutes on October 21, Chennai Egmore-Kollam Ananthapuri Express (16723) for 45 minutes on October 21 and 22, Nagercoil-Coimbatore Express (22667) for 35 minutes on October 21, Kollam-Chennai Egmore Ananthapuri Express (16724) for 40 minutes on October 21 and Chennai Egmore-Guruvayur Express (16127) for 2 hours and 15 minutes on October 22.

Thiruvananthapuram-Madurai Amritha Express (16343) leaving Thiruvananthapuram Central on October 21 will be short terminated at Dindigul Junction. Madurai-Punalur Passenger (56700) will start from Tirunelveli on October 20 and 21. Tambaram-Nagercoil Antyodaya Express (16191) leaving Tambaram on October 21 will be short terminated at Dindigul Junction.

Kanyakumari-Rameswaram Tri-weekly Superfast (22622) leaving Kanyakumari on October 20will be diverted between Manamadurai and Virudunagar Junction.

Tiruchchirappalli-Thiruvananthapuram Intercity-Express (22627) leaving Tiruchchirappalli Junction on October 21 and 22 will be diverted between Tiruchchirappalli Junction and Virudunagar Junction.

Nagercoil-Mumbai CSMT Express (16340) leaving Nagercoil Junction on October 21 and 22 will be diverted between Karur and Virudunagar Junction. Guruvayur-Chennai Egmore Express (16128) leaving Guruvayur on October 20 and 21 and Nagercoil-Kacheguda Weekly Express (16354) leaving Nagercoil Junction on October 22 will be diverted between Virudunagar Junction and Tiruchchirappalli Junction. The train will stop at Manamadurai Junction and Karaikudi Junction.
