Two burglars held, property worth Rs 16.35 lakh recovered
Hyderabad: Rachakonda police on Wednesday arrested two burglars who committed five offences and recovered property worth Rs 16.35 lakh. The accused are Brahmodu Rajaiah alias Brahmadevara Rajasri Ganesh and Tamada Mohana Krishna. Police recovered 42.6 tola gold ornaments, 37 tola silver ornaments, one Apple iPad and one Nikon camera.
Their associate Dommata Ram Prasad was held by LB Nagar police in September.
Rajaiah was previously arrested by Ghatkesar police and he met the other two accused in Cherlapally jail. After release, the trio committed house burglaries.
In another incident, Rachakonda police nabbed a gang of six who committed 17 house burglaries in Rachakonda this year alone. Police recovered Rs 40,000 cash, 10.2 tola gold ornaments, 342 tola silver and electronic items.
