Two die of electrocution in Odisha's Jagatsinghpur

Jagatsinghpur: Two persons were electrocuted to death at separate places in Jagatsinghpur district today.

The deceased has been identified as Ranjan Kumar Dash of Palasola village under Sadar police limits and Madhaba Parida of Gadaharishpur village under Ersama police limits in the district.

Sources said Madhaba came in contact with electricity while starting a water pump at a prawn Gheri at Gadaharishpur village. Though he was rushed to Jagatsinghpur Headquarters Hospital (DHH) in critical condition, doctors declared him dead.

In another incident, Ranjan died of electrocution while supplying electricity to a table fan at his house. Later, two unnatural death cases were lodged at Sadar police station in this connection.
