Two held for killing man in Ghazipur

NEW DELHI: Two men were arrested for the murder of a 31-yearold man in Ghazipur .

A tattoo, bearing the name ‘Sunny’ on the right hand of the deceased, unraveled the murder mystery leading to the arrest of the killers. It turned out that the victim, Sunny alias Shiva, was murdered after he had threatened the wife of one of the accused.

DCP (East) Jasmeet Singh said the accused were identified as Zile Singh and Mahender Singh. Police could not find any other evidence except for a tattoo on his arm, bearing the name ‘Sunny.’ The deceased was later identified as a resident of northeast Delhi. Probe revealed that a day before his murder, Sunny got into an argument with Zile’s wife and allegedly misbehaved with her.

Angered by the episode, Zile called his friend Mahender and the duo took Sunny out on the pretext of returning his money, but instead shot him dead.
