Two lynched in Begusarai, Ara

BEGUSARAI/ ARA : Two persons were lynched in separate incidents in Begusarai and Bhojpur districts on Thursday night.

In Begusarai, a mob lynched Aman and injured Golu, both residents of Panhas locality of Begusarai town,when they barged into a house in Bharra village under Begusarai Mufassil police station and tried to outrage the modesty of a girl on Thursday night.

In another incident in Bhojpur district, a 14- year-old boy was beaten to death on Thursday over a trivial issue. The minor boy was returning after attending the last rites of a co villager. The deceased, Chhotu Singh, a student of Class VII, was the son of one Jeetendra alias Pappu Singh of Nonaur village under the Sahar police station. He died on way to the hospital.

Sahar police station SHO Harendra Kumar said, “A heated argument took place between the accused persons and the minor boy over some issue. The boy was beaten up so badly that he succumbed to his injuries on way to the hospital.”
