Two Ulfa-I rebels nabbed in Arunachal Pradesh

DIBRUGARH: Two Myanmnar-trained rebels of the Ulfa-Independent were nabbed by a joint team of the 13 Assam Rifles , 171 CRPF Battalion and Arunachal Police from Nampong area of Arunachal Pradesh 's Changlang district on Sunday morning.


Assam Rifles sources said that during a search operation two suspicious looking individuals were seen coming from Lungka village toward the NH-315 junction.

On being challenged, the suspects attempted to flee by dashing towards the thick jungle near the road side. The joint troops pursued the individuals and manage to nab them.
