Udhayanidhi Stalin holds interview to select office- bearers for DMK youth wing in Trichy, Salem
TRICHY: DMK youth wing secretary Udhayanidhi Stalin conducted an interview here on Sunday to fill key posts in the wing in Trichy and Salem districts.
The interview was conducted to appoint-office like as president, secretary and treasurer for area, union and town units of the youth wing.
Party sources said Udhayanidhi would interview more than 800 candidates.
They interview was being held at Kalaignar Arivalayam on the Karur Road here.
Candidates said they had been asked about their experience in participating in protests and demonstrations conducted by the party. “As a proof for our participation in the party's political protests, newspaper clips covering the event were sought. We were asked about our educational qualifications and political affiliation of our family members,” said C Balaji who attended the interview.
They were also asked whether they had participated in desilting of water bodies.
