Bolangir: Acting on a tip-off, Town police busted a turmeric powder debasement unit at Club Pada here and held onto an immense dispatch of rice powder, husk, white compound and leaves and twigs of trees, Monday.

Police additionally confined the owner of the unit Rajesh Sharma and one of his partners during the strike.

Police said Sharma who was running an arrangement shop close by had built up the plant and tainting turmeric powder and selling them in the market for the sake of ATM Spices Company of Chhattisgarh.
