Uproar over language, Karnataka CM Kumaraswamy tweeted

Bangalore: After the tweet of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) leader Kanimozhi, there has once again started a controversy over language in South India. On Monday morning, former Finance Minister and Congress leader P. Chidambaram shared the incident with him and now former Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy has made big allegations by tweeting.

Kumaraswamy said that the politics of Hindi language often seizes opportunities from South Indian leaders.

While tweeting one after the other, former CM Kumaraswamy wrote, 'DMK MP was asked if you are Indian? I raise my voice against this humiliating incident with Kanimozhi. It is a matter of debate how Hindi language politics has seized the opportunities from the leaders of South India. Hindi politics prevented many South Indian leaders from becoming PM '.

Kumaraswamy wrote, 'HD Deve Gowda, Karunanidhi, Kamaraj are the main names among them. Although, Deve Gowda managed to break this barrier, but there were many occasions when he faced criticism about the language. Hindi politics had also become successful when Deve Gowda had to give a speech in Hindi from the Red Fort'. PM Deve Gowda merely agreed because most of the farmers were from UP-Bihar.
