Uttar Pradesh: Union minister Sanjeev Balyan escapes accident

Agra: Muzaffarnagar MP and union minister Sanjeev Balyan had a close shave after he got in a road accident on the Agra-Fatehpur Sikri road on Saturday. According to police, a stray cattle wandered into the road, causing Balyan's SUV and the vehicles of his police escort to ram into each other. However, no one was injured.

Balyan was returning from the dargah of Saleem Chisti. The BJP leader had been on a two-day visit to Agra and was scheduled to go to Fatehpur Sikri with former BJP MP Chaudhary Babulal.
