Uttarakhand: 50 meters section of Dehradun-Mussoorie road sunk

Dehradun: Rainfall that occurred throughout the day in Mussoorie in Uttarakhand became trouble in the district. Landslides at many places have blocked many roads. About 50 meters of Dehradun Mussoorie road got sunk. Today the movement of small vehicles has been opened, but the movement of four-wheelers is banned.

Kotwal Devendra Aswal told that the route has been blocked due to landslides on the water mode located on the Mussoorie-Dehradun road. An attempt is being made to open the route.

In Mussoorie, there has been a lot of damage due to the highest rainfall. By late evening some routes were opened. On the other hand, the Mussoorie-Campty road was blocked for a long time by falling trees near the Sanjha court. JCB's assistance had to be sought to open the Mussoorie-Campty route, but JCB went uncontrolled and overturned on the road, in which the JCB driver was seriously injured. The Tehri bypass road was damaged near Basa Ghat. This road has become narrower due to continuous landslide, which is causing problems in the movement of vehicles.

On the other hand, after a landslide in Laxmanpuri, debris fell on the house, causing partial damage to the house. The highest loss has been due to trees and landslides in the Tourist Place Company Garden of Mussoorie. In Indira Colony, after the landslide, the road was disrupted, while a house was hit by landslides. On Mussoorie Company Garden Road, along with the blocking of two big trees, the power supply was also stopped. With this, people had to face many problems.
