[VIDEO] Former Australian pacer Brett Lee joins crowd in chanting 'Sachin, Sachin' at an event in Kerala

Sachin Tendulkar and Brett Lee enjoyed fierce duel during their playing days. The batting legend shared a great rivalry with the former Australian pacer, who is regarded as one of the finest pacers of the generation. Fans were always treated to some intriguing action whenever the duo came head to head on the cricket pitch. Lee and Tendulkar also share a great rapport off the pitch and their admiration for each other is mutual.

Recently an event in Kerala, Lee was asked about the most threatening batsman he ever came across in his career. The crowd at the event instantly started chanting Tendulkar's name before the Australian could have come up with an answer. Lee too joined the chorus and chanted "Sachin...Sachin..." with the rest of the crowd. The former Australian pacer later stated that Tendulkar is an absolute legend for him.

Lee and Tendulkar came across numerous times on the pitch and got better of each other on many occasions. While the Master Blaster dominated the pacer at times, smashing his all around the park with the bat, the Australian pacer troubled Tendulkar with his brute pace. Tendulkar also had to cope with several blows on his body from Lee, who clocked over 140kph consistently with the white ball.

The rivalry between Lee and Tendulkar is a well-documented one and one of the greatest world cricket has ever witnessed. The duo came against each other 42 times in international cricket and dominated each other equally. Lee dismissed Tendulkar 14 times in total 12 Tests and 30 ODIs while the Master Blaster scored 2329 runs against Australia including six centuries and eleven fifties in the 42 games which Lee was a part of. 

While Sachin holds the record for most international runs with 34, 257 runs under his name, Lee picked up 76 Tests and 221 ODIs for Australia scalping 310 and 380 wickets in the two formats respectively.
