Wolverine

Wolverine, the best at what he does (which isn't very nice), is surprisingly short. Hugh Jackman, at 6'3", towers over the comic book version who stands at 5'3". But don't underestimate his size, he's called Wolverine for a reason - small, yet deadly.

MCU's Hawkeye draws inspiration from the defunct Ultimate Universe version. Unlike the main Hawkeye, he had a family. In comics, he was married to Mockingbird, but no kids. This shift brings change for fans accustomed to his family-driven stories.

In the comics, Wanda and Pietro Maximoff were Magneto's mutant children. Movie rights caused changes, making them experiments instead. 2014 comics further altered their origin, distancing from mutants. Wanda's even deceased. Sometimes, movies overshadow comic canon.

Mantis went through massive changes from comics to screen. Movie Mantis is a sweet alien, while comic Mantis had Earthly origins. Kree, Celestial Madonna, and tree-breeding involved. Both versions joined Guardians, but comic Mantis had telepathy, precognition and more.
