Voice protest over stale food: Ganjam quarantine centre inmates

 

Sheragad: Inmates organized a protest showing Wednesday outside Thuruburai High School isolate focus here in this square of Ganjam area. The isolate focus detainees asserted that they had been given stale food to lunch Wednesday.

The prisoners came out of the isolate focus and hunched down on the Hinjili-Kankorada street blocking vehicular development.

They yielded when nearby authorities and police directed a gathering with them. They finished the protest exhibition after the organization guaranteed them that their complaints will be investigated.

One hundred and fifteen Odia transient specialists have been placed in disengagement at the isolate focus here. They affirmed that the rice served during lunch was stale and was radiating a foul smell.

On being educated, Sheragad BDO Suranjan Kumar Sahoo, nearby tehsildar Dayasindhu Parida and authorities of the Hinjilicut Police Station arrived at the spot and mollified the prisoners.
