Wanted PLFI activist nabbed in Odisha's Rourkela

Rourkela: A special squad of Rourkela police today nabbed a top activist of outlawed People’s Liberation Front of India (PLFI) during combing operation in Bisra area. The arrested PLFI activist, Sudama Singh was working as the area commander of the banned organization and wanted in several criminal cases in Odisha and Jharkhand.

Sudama was allegedly involved in seven murder cases in Bano and Jaladega of Jharkhand. Also, he was an accused in a robbery case at a cooperative bank in Hartibari of Sundergarh district, informed DIG Western range Kabita Jalan.

She further said Sudama is suspected to be involved in murders of BJP and JMM leaders in Jharkhand.

He was a member of PLFI since 2007 and involved in extortions as well in Jharkhand and bordering areas of Sundergarh.
