Watch: Man climbs mobile tower in Karli, urges Shiv Sena not to form government with Congress-NCP

The drama over politics in Maharashtra seems to have no end even after President’s rule was imposed in the state on Tuesday.

A Sena worker in Nandurbar district’s Karli village reportedly climbed on top of a mobile tower to urge party leaders not to go with NCP-Congress in their attempts to form the government.

A video of the man atop the tower has gone viral on social media. However, what he says from the top of the tower is not clearly heard in the video.

According to media reports, the man worked for the Sena as a Shakha Pramukh from 2003 to 2013.

Meanwhile, the Shiv Sena is holding deliberations with the Congress and the NCP to rope them in to form a government.

On Wednesday, after a meeting with senior Maharashtra Congress leaders Ashok Chavan, Balasaheb Thorat and Manikrao Thakare at a suburban hotel, Thackeray also said that talks over government formation were progressing in the "right direction" and a decision will be taken at an appropriate time.

Former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also expressed hope on Tuesday that a stable government should be formed soon in the state.
