Western Railway to run 198 special services to clear summer rush

MUMBAI: To clear the extra rush in regular trains during forthcoming summer vacations and to ensure better convenience to the passengers, Western Railway has planned 198 services of 7 summer special trains to various destinations from April 1.

According to a press release issued by WR chief spokesperson Ravinder Bhakar on Saturday evening, out of these seven special trains, four are from Mumbai, two from Ahmedabad and a train between Hyderabad and Jaipur which will run on Western Railway stations.



Train No. 09005/09006 Mumbai Central – New Delhi (Bi-Weekly) superfast AC special will be operated on 48 trips at a special fare. It will will leave Mumbai Central at 4 pm on Sunday and Friday and will arrive at New Delhi at 7.55 am the next day. This train will run from April 12 to June 30, and will have AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier coaches and Pantry Car. The train will halt at Vadodara and Kota stations in both directions.
