Woman arrested for murdering 5-year-old daughter in Firozabad
AGRA: GRP Firozabad on Sunday arrested a woman, who allegedly murdered her five-year-old daughter.
Accused identified as Sunit (28), resident of Sant Nagar under Linepar police jurisdiction of Firozabad, was living with her paramour Rajesh Kumar and the couple had five-year-old daughter Neha.
Woman's husband and left her several years ago and lived with his three children in Etawah.
According to police, on Sunday after heated argument with her paramour, Sunita decided to commit suicide along with five-year-old Neha. She took Neha near railway station and strangulated her, later she threw her on heavy stone in order to ensure Neha is dead.
GRP Firozabad SHO, Vijay Kumar said," Sunit then waited for train to commit suicide, but when no train came for half an hour she called off her suicide bid and attempted to throw her daughter's body under train wheels, in order to her death as accidental, but Sunita was caught by police, after a local a resident alerted us."

Accused Sunita was booked under IPC section 302 (murder) and has been sent jail.
