Assam Police took to Twitter and shared a picture of two officers deployed outside Don Bosco High School in Mangaldoi, where quite a few women took part in the Teachers’ Eligibility Test, popularly referred to as TET. Aspirants weren't allowed to take their infants inside the exam halls so these two ladies helped out.

Mumbai Cop Saves Dog From Drowning

The Mumbai rains this year were terrifying. Over 30 people lost their lives and the city was in complete mayhem. However, a Mumbai Police officer showed us the true meaning of a selfless deed. PC Prakash Pawar rescued a dog from floodwaters. The heartwarming video went viral on social media and netizens couldn't stop lauding the officer.

CRPF Soldier Who Survived Pulwama Attack Feeds Disabled Boy With His Hands

Iqbal Singh, a CRPF jawan who survived the Pulwama attacks, made us all emotional after a video of him feeding a disabled Kashmiri boy went viral. The jawan had lost 40 of his colleagues the same day but that did not make him turn a blind eye towards this child. When he saw the hungry boy, he offered him his tiffin. He then realised that the child was physically challenged, so went ahead and fed him with his own hands. If this isn't humanity, then what is?

Baby Elephant Rescued From A Ditch

IFS Officer, Parveen Kaswan shared a heartwarming video on Twitter which shows how people helped a baby elephant who was stuck in a ditch. You can even see the mommy elephant saluting the people who saved her baby. Such a beautiful act of kindness, isn't it? 

Sikh Activists Help 32 Kashmiri Girls Reach Home Safely

Three Delhi-based Sikh activists facilitated the return of 32 Kashmiri girls to their homes and even arranged for their travel tickets. The girls had come to Pune to train in nursing as a part of the Skill India project. After just five days of their training, the special status of Jammu and Kashmir was revoked and the girls were left stranded. The trio raised money for their tickets and flew with them to Srinagar. Upon arrival, the Army came forward and ensured the safe transportation of the girls to their homes in Shopian, Srinagar, Kupwara, Badgam, and Baramullah districts. 

Bengal Woman Raises 4 Lakh Bank Loan And Sells Gold Ornaments To Feed 400 Stray Dogs

Driven by love, compassion, and kindness towards animals, Nilanjana Biswas from West Bengal took a bank loan of roughly 4 lakhs to provide food and medicines to around 400 street dogs. She also sold her gold ornaments worth 2 lakhs to take care of the abandoned furballs. 

Today and every other day I hope these acts of humanity remind us to make the world a better place in the smallest ways that we can. Give a stranger a compliment, help an elderly person up the stairs, hug your friend tightly or just smile at someone on the road. Be kind, always!
