Yamunanagar: Woman stabbed to death at her in-laws' house

YAMUNANAGAR: A 27-year -old woman has been stabbed to death at her in-laws' house in posh New Jain Colony of Jagadhri town in Yamunanagar district on Thursday afternoon. The woman, identified as Rozi, was alone at her home with her 6-month-old son.

Rozi is the daughter-inlaw of Rajender Sikka, a known industrialist in Yamunanagar and the owner of Bhagwati Stone Crushers.

Investigating officers said that the crime spot shows that Rozi had struggled with her murderer, while her son is safe and the belongings of the house were also found untouched. There were spots of blood all over the area.

Rajesh was then asked to climb the wall and enter the house by his owner to check what was wrong. Seeing the body, Rajesh informed the police and the owner of the house.

Yamunanagar superintendent of police (SP) Kuldeep Singh said that there were multiple stab wounds and the body has been sent to post-mortem examination.
