"You are not alone in the city. I am here (main hoon na), doors of my office and home are always open for every student. Don't hesitate. Learn to share the stress," Kota District collector wrote a letter to coaching students. Kota administration is alarmed by the increasing suicide cases of NEET, JEE aspirants. Amid the sensitive times, the District collector OP Bunkar wrote a letter to students encouraging them to not get defeated by failures.

Assuring availability to the students, DC wrote that he and his team are always with them. The coaching institutes, hostels, and paying guests (PGs) are directed to put his letter on display for students.

Encouraging students, Mr Bunkar asked students not to get defeated by failure, saying, "If one road closes, other roads are open and waiting for you."

Kota student suicides have shaken the entire country as the district has witnessed the highest number of suicides this year. The situation intensified to a next level when two students committed suicide within a gap of a few hours.

Rajasthan government and Kota administration are taking several steps to decrease pressure among the students.

As one of the measures, DC Om Bunkar wrote an inspiring letter to the students.

"With a little fall in ranking in a test, you take yourself broken down, sink into tension and pack yourself in a room and continue to think that nothing could happen now," Bunkar wrote. Further, he urged students to step out and explore the city.

"Just once come out and see what is not there in my city, the beautiful riverfront, rising waves of River Chambal, fascinating gardens and groves; every circle is eager to welcome you."

Concluding the letter, DC wrote, "Dear students, you are strong, have got a lot to live life. You have the courage to move on ahead surmounting every weakness and difficulty. Believe it, nobody can defeat you until you yourself succumb to defeat."
