3 Kerala students drown in Kanyakumari

MADURAI: Three third year students of the Vellayani agricultural college in Thiruvananthapuram drowned in a river in Kanyakumari district where they apparently arrived on an excursion on Sunday.


The 24-year-old victims were identified as V Vishnu from Neyattinkara, S Santhanu from Kanjiramparai and M Arun from Vellayani in Thiruvananthapuram.

Pechiparai police registered a case under CrPc section 174 for suspicious death and conducted an inquiry.
