3 minor boys killed in Baran as tractor-trolley overturns
KOTA: Three minor boys were killed on the spot and at least fifteen others including children sustained injuries after a tractor–trolley, carrying 20 people to Garda village from a wedding in a nearby village, overturned on Jesva–Garda route on Sunday morning.
Seven of the injured are undergoing treatment in local hospitals while the others were discharged after primary medical care.
The three bodies were handed over to the family members after post-mortem.The deceased have been identified as Ravi Sahariya (13), Rajan Sahariya (12) and Sunil Sahariya (10) from Garda village under Bhanwargarh police station area of Baran district .
“Around 20 people of Sahariya tribal community were returning from a wedding in a nearby village by a tractor–trolley, when their vehicle overturned on Jesva–Garda route at around 9 o’clock in the morning,” said Nand Singh, SI at Bhanwargarh police station. The three minor boys were killed on the spot. They were crushed beneath the heavy trolley which overturned on them. At least fifteen others including men and children sustained injuries in the mishap, he added. The police have lodged a case of negligent driving against the tractor–trolley driver.
