5,914 new COVID19 cases and 114 deaths reported in Tamil Nadu

The cases of corona in Tamil Nadu are increasing day by day. On Monday (August 10), the cases of Covid-19 have crossed three lakhs. 114 more patients have died, due to which the figure of the dead has reached 5,000. According to the COVID Bulletin released by the government, 5,914 new patients have been exposed in the state.

NOw the cases have been 3,02,815.

With the death of more than 100 patients on the eighth day, the number of people who lost their lives to this disease has reached 5,041. It has taken just 16 days to reach the number of infected people in the state from two lakh to three lakh. Before this, on July 25, it took 22 days to reach the figure of one lakh to two lakh. On July 3, this figure had reached one lakh. Apart from this, 6,037 patients of Covid-19 recovered in Tamil Nadu on Monday. A total of 2,44,675 patients have been cured in the state so far.

Now only 53,099 patients are being treated at this time. A four-month-old girl and a 14-year-old boy died of covid19 on Monday. Apart from this, 1,10,121 from Chennai, 18,332 from Chengalpet district, 12,131 from Kanchipuram and 17,340 from Thiruvallur are said to be involved in the total case of the state. 976 patients are from Chennai in the new cases that came on Monday.
