65 farm fires in Haryana on Saturday

According to the agriculture department, most of the paddy area has been harvested in the state.


As many as 65 fire incidents were recorded on Saturday by the Haryana State Remote Sensing Centre. The total cases have reached 6,194 since September 25. Kaithal topped with 1,223 stubble burning cases, followed by Fatehabad (1156), Karnal (1107), Kurukshetra (721), Jind (562), Ambala (369), Sirsa (345), Yamunanagar (261) and Palwal (204).
