Ahmedabad cancer patient kills self by jumping out of hospital
AHMEDABAD: A 30-year-old man committed suicide by jumping off the fifth floor of a general hospital in Bapunagar late on Monday night, as he was fed up of his oral and neck cancer, police said.
A resident of Siddhi Vinayak Society on Shayona City Road in Ghatlodia, Vishal Rajendra Trivedi, the deceased, was receiving chemotherapy for cancer at the government hospital for six months.

He was admitted to the hospital on Friday. Trivedi, who was unmarried man, worked for a pharmaceuticals company in the Sola area of the city.
At around 10.30pm on Monday, he told his brother to bring him buttermilk. When his brother went out, he jumped from the balcony of the fifth floor, said inspector M P Pathan of Rakhial police station.
Rakhial police registered a case of accidental death and began an investigation into the case.
