Assaulting school headmaster: Jajpur man

Jajpur: A 42-year-elderly person was captured for supposedly pounding the superintendent of an elementary school in Odisha’s Jajpur region, police said Wednesday.

Pratap Kumar Malik burst into the workplace room of the dean of Garabandha Project Primary school, Ratikanta Samal and chided him in a tarnished language and with no incitement supposedly whipped him Tuesday, the police said.

Malik likewise harmed the cruiser of Samal. At the point when the dean raised an alert, local people raced to the spot and seized the charged.

In view of objection held up by the superintendent, Malik was captured Tuesday and a case under significant segments of IPC has been stopped against him, Asit Ranjan Mohanty, controller responsible for Mangalpur police headquarters, said.
