BJP nominee promises free health insurance for UT senior citizens

Chandigarh: Chandigarh BJP candidate Sanjay Tandon on Saturday held discussions with retired employees of UT Secretariat, and highlighted the BJP's pledge to extend free health coverage of Rs 5 lakh under Ayushman Bharat Card to individuals aged 70 and above.

During the day, Tandon also held multiple meetings with other sections of the society.

"As a native of this vibrant city, I am well aware of the city’s challenges. If elected as an MP, I will earnestly work towards resolving all challenges being faced by you over the next five years. I am available to the public round-the-clock, and this underscores my commitment to accessible and responsive governance," remarked Tandon.

Gulshan Girdhar, president of the UT Secretariat Retired Employees Welfare Union, said. "Tandon Ji is always ready to help us in need. His understanding of the city’s intricate problems gives us confidence that he will diligently resolve the pending issues,” said Girdhar, extending the association's support to Tandon's electoral endeavors. Emphasising his deep-rooted connection with the city and its residents, Tandon expressed his commitment to addressing the pressing issues confronting Chandigarh.

‘Chd markets organised,

shopkeepers happy’

BJP candidate for the Chandigarh Lok Sabha seat Sanjay Tandon has started visiting different markets of Chandigarh. Market visits are a a part of his election campaign. "Chandigarh has one of the finest and well organised markets, and most of the shopkeepers are quite happy with the facilities provided in the last 10 years. Wherever I have gone, people have welcomed me with open arms. Shopkeepers in all the markets have assured me of their full support. I am a local resident and personally know majority of shop owners of Chandigarh," Tandon said. On Saturday, the BJP candidate visited the Surgical Market in Sector 16 to meet with shop owners. Earlier, he had visited the Sec 19 market and the motor market in Manimajra.

UT becoming a health industry hub

Sanjay Tandon said that Chandigarh is becoming a health industry hub. He was addressing a meeting organized at the Surgical Market located in Sector-16. The shopkeepers of the surgical market welcomed the BJP candidate with the beat of drums and garlands of flowers.
