BJP-TMC Clash Turned Violent In Bankura, 4 Injured

Bankura: Political clashes between turned violent in Bankura on Saturday. At least four people of both sides were injured in this clash which is occurred at Khatra.

In this incident, Raghav Dhabaldev and Tarapad Bauri were seriously injured and admitted to the Khatra sub-divisional hospital. On the other hand, Tamal Roy and Shivprasad Mahapatra have been beaten by Trinamool activists, BJP alleged.

On this issue, the complain filed against each other against Khatra Police Station.

A large number of police forces were deployed in Khatra after getting news of political clashes. After the afternoon, BJP leader Shyamal Sarkar demanded the removal of police officer alleged of bias. Bankura police reached on the spot and promised to investigate the matter.

A grassroots worker named Tarapad Bauri sat on the bed of the Khatra sub-division hospital and said he was standing in front of a shop in the market. At that time, some BJP workers hit him with a stick on his head, he claimed.

BJP leader Shyamal Sarkar denied allegations of grassroots. He said that these are completely false. His claim that TMC attempts to foil vote in Khatra. He also said that the Khatra Police IC is working with the Trinamool. Free, fair and neutral vote is not possible if he is in charge here. The removal of the present IC has been brought to the attention by the BJP, he said.
