Bride-to-be Kaushambi Chakraborty enjoys 'Aiburobhat' with 'Phulki' family

Kaushambi Chakraborty is in cloud nine now. The popular Bengali actress is tying the knot with her co-star Adrit Roy this month. The last minute wedding preparations are going in full swing. Along with that, Kaushambi has kicked off her ‘Aiburobhat’ as well. The ‘ Mithai ’ actress has been treated with a scrumptious lunch from team ‘ Phulki ’ before her big day.

Kaushambi shared a series of photos from her ‘Aiburobhat’ featuring the cast and crew of the Bengali TV show with a sweet write-up. Sharing the photos, the actress wrote, “Until now, I used to plan for such events and today I am at the receiving end. This is an entirely different experience. Thank you so much, Team Phulki! Love you all!”

Kaushambi is soon to be married to popular Bengali actor Adrit Roy. The couple is going to tie the knot on May 9 and they will be throwing a reception party on May 11. Kaushambi was recently seen hanging out with her friend and actress Somashri Bhattacharyya in between her wedding shopping spree. The actress shared a few photos with Somashri on social media and wrote, “Never ending shopping scenes.”

Adrit and Kaushambi came close to each other while working in the popular Bengali daily ‘Mithai’. However, Adrit and Kaushambi’s rumoured affair did not have a smooth sail. The duo worked together in the TV show where Adrit played the part of the male protagonist of the show and Kaushambi portrayed the character of his sister. Fans of ‘Mithai’ initially did not approve of their relationship. Adrit and Kaushambi did not publicize their relationship either. Around the end of 2023, Kaushambi posted a photo of her and Adrit together, finally giving their relationship the tag of ‘Instagram Official’. However, neither Adrit nor Kaushambi has ever spoken about their relationship publicly.

A fan page of the ‘Mithai’ famed actor shared a glimpse of the wedding invitation card of Adrit and Kaushambi on social media a few weeks ago. For the wedding invitation card, the theme is pastel. On a beige base, ‘Kaushambi weds Adrit’ is written in red ink. On the other hand, the invitation card for the reception party is out too. Adrit and his family have started inviting guests for the big day. For the reception card, Adrit has chosen the colour palette of white and golden. Not just that, the popular face of Bengali TV has added a special souvenir, a miniature silver Ganesh idol, with the reception invitation card.
