Bus overturns in Odisha's Jagatsinghpur, 20 injured

Jagatsinghpur: At least 20 persons sustained injuries after a bus in which they were travelling overturned on Kandarpur-Machhagaon road near Hajipur in Odisha’s Jagatsinghpur district today.

The ill-fated bus ‘Aviram’, bearing registration number OD-05 AM 5644, was heading towards Cuttack carrying around 40 passengers when the driver of the vehicle lost control over the wheels.

It skidded off the road and turned turtle injuring 20 passengers. The victims have been admitted to Biridi hospital. Condition of one of them is stated to be critical.
