Children Remain Stranded In Bus For 2 Hours As Driver Leaves Them & Heads To A Party

If your children do not come from the school on time one day, what will be the wildest thought that would cross your mind? The last thing you'd think of is that the driver left the children in the school bus and went to a party with his friends.

That is exactly what happened with the children of Chirec Public School, Telangana.

Yes, no kidding!

Worried about their children not returning home, parents went to search for 15 kids when they did not get home by their usual time - 6 pm. The school is situated in a village near Madhugiri town in Tumakuru district, according to the Times Of India.

After searching, they found their kids stranded in the school bus; they'd been waiting for the past 2 hours as the school bus driver had allegedly gone to a party with friends. The children left the school at around 4 pm in the bus. Somewhere in the middle, the driver halted the vehicle near ID Halli and stepped out.

Raghunath, a local, said all the stranded students are residents of ID Halli, 25km away from Madhugiri. “We went in search of the children only to find them locked inside the bus around 7.30pm. They were in the bus for more than two hours. We later found the driver was drunk,” Raghunath said.

As the driver - Basavaraju - was at a nearby house, the parents of the students went to talk to him. To their shock, he started fighting and alleged that it was the parents who didn't bother to come pick their kids up in time.
