Coconut tree crashes on house in Pali

Valpoi: Heavy rain and gusty winds caused a coconut tree to fall on the house of Shripad Sawant at Pali-Thane in Sattari. Fire services personnel pegged the losses at Rs 50,000. In another incident, a mango tree crashed on the main road, damaging an electricity pole. Fire services personnel managed to cleared the debris within two hours.
