Communal violence between two communities over Durga Puja immersion: 14 injured

Jehanabad (Bihar): At least 14 individuals were harmed when individuals from two networks conflicted in Bihar’s Jehanabad town Thursday after a stone was heaved at a parade conveying symbols for inundation after the finish of the Durga Puja celebration, police said.

The conflict broke out at Arwal More region promptly in the first part of the day and the individuals who took part in the parade accused the onlookers, who were from another strict network for the stone tossing.

Substantial stone pelting resulted from the two sides leaving in any event 14 individuals, including a neighborhood columnist who was covering the parade, harmed, the police said.

The harmed were raced to nearby medical clinics, the police said.

The circumstance was managed after region officer Navin Kumar and administrator of police Manish arrived at the spot.

No case has been enrolled regarding the conflict up until this point and the area justice and the administrator of police held chats with the unsettled local people so the submersion of symbols was finished calmly, the police included.
