Corona wreaks havoc in Karnataka, 5,503 new cases found in a day

Bengaluru: The process of meeting more than 5 thousand corona patients in Karnataka has continued on Wednesday. Coronavirus has been found in 5,503 new people in the last 24 hours in the state. 2,270 new cases of corona infection have been reported in Bengaluru. Till Wednesday, the total number of corona cases in the state has reached 1,12, 504.

Of these, 42,901 people have recovered and gone home. There are 67,448 active cases of corona in the state.

2,397 infected people have been discharged from the hospital on Wednesday after getting healthy. A total of 92 coronavirus patients died on Wednesday in the state, out of which 30 died in Bengaluru city. The total number of active cases in the Bangalore urban district has reached 36,224. 1118 corona infected in the district returned home on Wednesday after recovering. 987 people have died due to Coronavirus so far in the city.

According to the Health Department, on Sunday, 2270 in Bangalore Urban District, 338 in Bellary District, 279 in Belagavi, 225 in Davangere, 208 in Dakshina Kannada District, 200 in Mysuru district, 175 in Dharwad district, 173 in Udupi district, 128 in Kalburgi, 131 Corona infection patients have been found in Shivamogga district. Similarly, 128 new corona patients have been found in Tumkuru, 96 in Chikballapur district, 114 in Yadagiri, 91 in Bidar, 90 in Vijaypur, 95 in Hassan district, 84 in Koppal district.
