COVID-19: Another 76 patients recover in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: As many as 76 patients of COVID-19 recovered today and are being discharged from hospitals after they tested negative for the deadly virus, said Health and Family Welfare Department sources. With this the total recovered case in the State now stands at 1126.

While maximum number of 17 persons from Kendrapara cured from the infection, 16 recovered in Ganjam district.

A total of 11 persons each from Nayagarh and Kalahandi districts recovered.

Five persons from Jajpur, three each from Balasore and Mayurbhanj districts and two each from Angul and Jagatsinghpur districts recovered today.

Also, one each from Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Malkangiri, Puri, Sambalpur and Sundargarh districts cured from the infection.

So far, 1948 persons tested positive in the State. Number of active cases the State is at 813 while seven died of the COVID-19. Two others died of diseases in the State other than coronavirus.
