Darsheel reunites with Aamir Khan after 16 years; shares first look leaving fans excited

Darsheel Safary, the former child actor who won immense love and acclaim for his performance in Aamir Khan’s Taare Zameen Par is back in the limelight.

The young actor has taken to Instagram and teased fans about his reunion with Aamir Khan, 16 years after Taare Zameen Par.

This isn’t all, Darsheel also shared the first look of their upcoming project featuring Aamir with white hair and a beard as the former child actor all grown up.

Sharing the first look along with a similar picture from Taare Zameen Par, Darsheel wrote, “BOOOMMMMM! 16 years later, and we're together again Emotional? Yeah, a little. Charged? ABSOLUTELY All the love to my favorite mentor for the experience Watch this space for the Big reveal”.

Reacting to the picture, a few fans wondered if it’s the first look of Sitaare Zameen Par, a film that Aamir Khan has recently started filming.

One user wrote, “Sitare zamin par....I guess ?” Another user reacted, ”This will be the best and most exciting reunion”.

Whether it’s an ad or something else will be officially unveiled in three days time but one thing is for sure, it isn’t Sitaare Zameen Par.

An official remake of the Spanish film Campeones, Sitaare Zameen Par went on floors recently and stars Aamir Khan as a coach given the task of training a sports team comprising special children.
