Dehradun opens today with old facilities, only markets will be closed tomorrow

Dehradun: In Dehradun district of Uttarakhand, the old system has been set again. According to this, there will be no two-day lockdown. Only markets and shops, business establishments will be blocked on Sunday in the Doon district. However, OPD of petrol pumps, medical stores, dairy, gas agency, tiffin service, licensed meat-fish shops, industrial units, and hospitals will remain open this time too.

Along with this, bakery and home delivery service will also be operated. Vikram, Auto, City buses will also be run. Apart from this, markets will be closed on all days in all the tehsils of the city. DM Dr. Ashish Kumar Srivastava said in his statement that this facility will be implemented this time as per the order issued on 11 July till further orders from the government. On Sunday, Municipal Corporation Dehradun, Cantonment Council Garhi Cantt, and Clementstown and the markets of Tuni area will remain closed in Dehradun.

On the other hand, the Municipal Corporation will remain weekly in Rishikesh on Thursday, Mussoorie Municipality, and Chakrata area on Wednesday. Markets in Vikasnagar, Herbertpur, Kalsi, and Sahia areas remained closed on Friday. Markets of Doiwala municipality area, Sahaspur, and Selakui will be restricted on Wednesday. On Sunday, wards will be sanitized on behalf of the Municipal Corporation, Municipality, and Nagar Panchayat. People will also be able to go on the morning walk. Vehicles will also run. Construction and commercialization units will also operate there. From Monday, the old rules will be implemented again. DM Dr. Ashish Kumar Srivastava has urged people to stay at home. He has instructed children and elders not to leave the house.
