Delhi: Rain Lashes Parts Of National Capital, Bringing Respite From Rising Temperature

New Delhi: A fresh spell of rain on Friday evening brought some respite from the heat and rising temperatures. Earlier, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasted a duststorm or thunderstorm with light to moderate intensity rain and gusty winds with speed of 40-70 Km/hour over and adjoining areas of most places of Delhi and NCR on Friday, April 26.



Areas including Bahadurgarh, Noida, Greater Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad, Manesar, Ballabhgarh) Jind,Hissar, Gohana, Hansi, Meham, Rohtak, Jhajjar, Farukhnagar, Kosali, Mahendargarh, Sohana, Rewari, Bawal (Haryana) Nandgaon, Barsana (U.P.) Pilani, Bhiwari, Mahawa, Mahandipur Balaji (Rajasthan) during next two hours. Hail storm is very likely over and adjoing areas of Biwari (Rajasthan), Manesar, Gohana (Haryana) are expected to witness rain during upcoming hours.

Delhi Weather on ThursdayThe national capital recorded a minimum temperature of 20 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average, according to the India Meteorological Department.

The IMD said the humidity level in Delhi was 49 per cent at 8.30 am with predictions of strong surface winds during the day time.

The maximum temperature is expected to be around 37-40.5 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to hover around 21-24 degrees Celsius over the week as per IMD forecast.
