It was not so much of a busy day in the Entertainment but the news and updates of the upcoming projects in Kollywood and Tollywood kept the fans and movie audience occupied. However, Sandalwood has been busy with Soubin Shahir 's case and the court has now granted him pre-arrest bail.

'Manjummel Boys' actor Soubin Shahir was co-accused for a cheating case and breach of promise against profit sharing.

However, the Kerala High Court today has granted a pre-arrest anticipatory bail to the actor which can deny his arrest if any by the police.

Amidst the 'Manjummel Boys' success, the actor's news came as a shock to the entire film industry. Meanwhile in Kollywood, Dhanush 's upcoming film ' Raayan ' is likely to release in theatres this June. 'Raayan' marks the second directorial of Dhanush and it stars Dhanush, SJ Suryah, Prakash Raj, Selvaraghavan, Aparna Balamurali, Kalidas Jayaram, Dushara Vijayan, Sundeep Kishan, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in lead roles and the music for it is composed by AR Rahman. The film makers are eyeing for its release on June 13 as Kamal Haasan's 'Indian 2' takes a step back and plans to release only in July.

In another news of the day, actor Vikram who is currently awaiting the release of his film 'Thangalaan' attended the muhurat pujah of his son Dhruv Vikram's film 'Bison Kaalamaadan' in Tirunelveli today. The actor was mobbed by the fans outside the shooting spot and his appearance in public made a huge buzz. The video of the actor being surrounded by fans is now making rounds on social media.

In Tollywood, Chiranjeevi 's ' Vishwambhara ' has high anticipation. The movie directed by Mallidi Vassishta stars Trisha as the female lead. The movie is special as it marks Trisha's comeback in Tollywood after 7 years. However, the news that grabbed the audience's attention today is that Chiranjeevi's brother and actor Pawan Kalyan is said to share screen space with the mega star in the film.

Also, another most anticipated film in Telugu is ' Devara ' that stars Jr NTR in the lead alongside Janhvi Kapoor. The movie features Saif Ali Khan as the antagonist. The latest reports is that the Bollywood actor is shooting for his intense sequences in Vizag alone as Jr NTR is currently unavailable amidst his other commitments.
