DK Shivakumar wrote to Yeddyurappa, says "FIR against Sonia should be revoked"

Bangalore: An FIR has been lodged against Interim President of Congress Sonia Gandhi in Karnataka. Senior Congress leader DK Shivakumar has written a letter to state CM BS Yeddyurappa against this FIR. He alleged that the FIR against Sonia Gandhi has been filed on the basis of wrong information, it should be revoked immediately.

Congress leader DK Shivakumar told the media that, 'A BJP worker has lodged a complaint against Sonia Gandhi with political hatred on the basis of wrong information. I have written a letter to CM and demanded to withdraw the FIR. I also demand registration of an FIR against the guilty police officer and suspend him.

In fact, in Shimoga district of Karnataka, an FIR has been lodged against the interim president of the Congress, Sonia Gandhi. This FIR has been registered against Sonia Gandhi under Section 153, 505 of IPC. It has been urged in the FIR that legal action should be taken against Sonia Gandhi. This FIR has been filed by a local lawyer named Praveen. It has been told that Sonia Gandhi had given false information about PM Cares Fund, due to which an FIR has been lodged against her.
